Plans and credits
Your plan decides how many apps you can own and build, and how many AI credits you get each month. People you share an app with never need a paid plan to use it.
#What each plan allows
| Plan | Apps of your own | Build apps others share with you | Run logs kept |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | 1 | no (you use them) | 7 days |
| Builder | 5 | yes | 30 days |
| Pro | 50 | yes | 90 days |
"Apps of your own" counts the apps you are the billing owner of. Apps shared with you don't count. Current prices are on apptown.app.
#Change your plan
Open Settings → Plan to upgrade, change or cancel. Payment is through Stripe. When a paid plan ends, your account goes back to Free: nothing you built is deleted, but you can't add apps beyond the Free limit until you upgrade again.
#AI credits
AI use costs credits: each request costs what the AI provider charges for it, turned into credits. Every plan gets credits each month.
- The app's billing owner pays for AI used while building it (the AI builder) and for its automations' AI steps.
- Each person pays for their own assistant chats.
- Settings → AI credits shows your balance, this month's use and the history; each app's Settings shows its use this month.
- When credits run out, AI stops until next month; everything else keeps working.
AI is always optional: everything it does, you can do by hand.
